Well, I certainly hope you all had a happy whatever-you-might-be-celebrating and are on the mend from overdoses of baked goods and festive family gatherings. Merry Festivus, Omni Blog Readers!

So, we are considering an OmniFocus/GTD get-together at Macworld, just to meet with those of you who are going to be in town and might be interested in chatting about…oh, I'm not quite sure yet. Personal Productivity Applications: Their Concept and Execution, maybe. How To Make OmniFocus The Best OmniFocus It Can Be. Something like that.

We have no idea how many of you to plan for, though, and we haven't made any decisions about venue or dates or whether to include party favors or anything. Therefore, we're hoping you can help us out; if you're reading this and thinking, hey, I'm going to Macworld! Hey, I would love to talk with Omni about this OmniFocus thing, if only to harass them about its ship date! – then please, let us know. Drop us a line in the comments section or send a quick email, okay?

will be attending several days. schedule is getting full. but for Omni…we're in….of course, we've been waiting so long that if we had an early beta, then there would be actually something to discuss, rather than having to hope and guess at what you're doing.

There's a nice Mexican place at the Metreon, next door to the Moscone center, and lots of room for a gathering in the park behind Moscone North/Metreon. I'll bring the kids and call it a picnic :)

I won't be at MW, but I do live in Seattle, and would welcome the opportunity to talk about OminFocus.

I've recently started to use OO with KGTD. I really like it, but I wish the syncing with iCal was better, so I could get all my action items onto my pocket pc and back out. A more all enompassing solution, with calendar, etc. would also be great. Suffice it to say, I'm looking forward to OF.

I also have a few thoughts about OO. It would be a really robust contract drafting environment, if it had functionality akin the Macsimpleprompter/dataprompter add-in for MS Word. This add-in allow a user to define in the body text fill text boxes, drop down menus, and boilerplate insertion. Combining this facility with the great numbering and style support would be a winner.

Probably, this could even be added with Applescript. But I have no skills in that area.

Well, I'm in the area, so I'll “be there”.

I've actually been talking with some mac devs about doing an indie Mac developer meetup/Mash Pit at our offices at Citizen Space (http://wiki.coworking.info/CitizenSpace)... I'd love to host you guys if you're interested as we're more and more becoming an Omni/GTD shop ourselves.
