OmniPlan 1.1.1 beta 1 is now available

by Molly Reed on April 25, 2007

OmniPlan 1.1.1 beta 1 is now available, localized for Japanese, French, Italian, Dutch, German, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.  If you use OmniPlan in one of these languages, please let us know of any problems you see so that we can get the issue corrected as soon as possible.

Please keep in mind that this release is still under development. Your feedback will help us improve the software, and we apologize if it crashes, corrupts your files, or otherwise misbehaves. A more stable release that does not include localizations is also available.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions or comments. You can contact us directly via our support page or by using the Send Feedback feature in your copy of OmniPlan.

I found a couple of resources that don't appear to be localized yet (eg: ImportPreferences.nib in French). Is this build supposed to be “localisation complete” ??

Also the use of the word “violation” in French seems awfully weird…... “conflit” (as in “conflit de calendrier” seems more appropriate.

Corentin: In theory, it's “localisation complete”. In practice, there's a reason we called it 'beta 1'. So yes, tell us about the things that seem to be missing (though the forums or email might be a better venue than this blog).

I don't have developer tools on my current machine to confirm, but I believe that ImportPreferences.nib is never actually displayed by OmniPlan, just part of the framework we borrow from Graffle, in order to do the Graffle export.

Forum it will be then.

I posted here because the comment section felt soooooooo empty ;-) and I was kind of hoping to get other user's opinions over the choice of terms.
