OmniPlan 1.1

OmniPlan 1.1 is here!  There are several enhancements in this release including improved import/export, leveling, printing and stability. We have also added some useful AppleScripts and improved some of the interface.  Since we have made so many stability improvements, we do encourage all OmniPlan users to upgrade to the latest release version. You can view a complete list of changes in the OmniPlan 1.1 release notes.

This is a free update for folks who already own an OmniPlan 1 license.  If you don't have a license yet, you can purchase one from our online store. 

We are continuing to work on OmniPlan, so keep your comments and suggestions coming!  You can contact us directly by way of our support page or by using the Send Feedback command in OmniPlan's Help menu.

Omni Plan is crap - not even worth 10 USD

compared to Merlin and itaskx i'ts like

a space shuttle against Sojus rockets.

Sojus is always on track - over 700 space flights without a crash

Any thoughts for Omnigroup to overlay a SCRUM style view on Omniplan similar I guess to Hansoft?

Ralph - We definitely want to do OmniWeb 6, but first we need to perfect human cloning so we can get some more engineers. (I suppose we'll also need a larger building to put them in, as well.) ;-)


Delta - Sorry OmniPlan wasn't to your liking. We've got a lot of happy customers, but for some folks, Merlin or iTask X are better fits, and we don't really have a problem with that. As long as folks can find a product they're happy with, we're happy for 'em.


Andrei - I did a google search on “SCRUM view Hansoft” and turned up a couple of hits, but it pointed to a swedish site with a giant flash demo. Could you do us a favor and send some reference links to omniplan@omnigroup.com. That'll ensure that the feature request ends up in front of the right eyeballs…
