OmniOutliner 3.7 beta 2 Now Available

by Derek on August 12, 2008

Sorry for the beta expiring on you! Beta 2 is now ready with a few fixes. QuickLook support has been improved to support summary cells and the broken image links are fixed. The esc and enter key will also once again toggle edit states when the appropriate defaults are set.

You can download the beta here and read the full release notes here. And as always, if you have any feedback or bug reports, please contact our Support Ninjas using the Send Feedback option under the Help menu.

Do y'all keep a road map of any kind for OO that's publicly available? I'm really keen to know if the ability to zoom is on the horizon. I dearly love OOP: it keeps my files small and it's svn friendly—but I really would like not to have to increase my font sizes and then fiddle with the window-size (and remembering to keep “zoom to fit” checked) just so I can both work on a high-res screen but still have printouts that don't look like they are for the enlarged print version of “Reader's Digest.”

We've talked a bit about our plans for OmniOutliner 4 on our forums.

Thanks, Ken. A momentary lapse in brain function made me forget to check the forums. Aging has its downsides…
