OmniGraffle 5.2 beta 7 is now available

by Joel on July 22, 2009

A few regressions and bugs addressed, a number of crashes fixed (including a pesky Quick Look related crash), and a little bit of a new feature added in this release:

Canvas names are retained on export to PDF, for various bookmarking and navigational purposes in whatever PDF viewer happens to be your favorite.

Please do take a look at the beta download page and historical release notes.

Are there any plans of bringing OmniGraffle or any other products to windows?

Pretty Please?

Are there any “Excel” like features planned? I am missing functions like the possibility to calculate the area of an triangle (or whatever). Or to set parameters of a line like the gradient and the intersection to the x and y axis. That would help to create orthogal lines and calculate intersection points.

Like I said, a kind of graphical Excel, that would be a great tool I am missing.
