We have designed OmniDazzle to work with the most popular video hardware, as reported by Omni Software Update. There's a lot of different hardware out there, and it all works differently, so while we've done our best to support as many configurations as possible, some of them (about 5.5% of the reported total) just won't work with OmniDazzle.

Fully supported graphics hardware can use all of the OmniDazzle plug-ins just fine... Go ahead, enjoy.

Partially supported graphics hardware can work with OmniDazzle, but the more graphically demanding plug-ins might not be available. If you don't see all of the plug-ins, it's probably because your hardware doesn't support them.

Unsupported hardware doesn't work with OmniDazzle at all. OmniDazzle uses some pretty advanced video features which require pretty modern video hardware.

You can check which hardware you have: click the Apple menu, choose "About This Mac", and click "More Info". Then, under the "Hardware" list on the left, click the "Graphics/Displays" item. Details about your hardware appear on the right side of the window; the first line is the name of your graphics chipset.

This list only includes the top 98% of reported hardware. If your hardware is not listed, it might work fine anyway. Please try it out and let us know how it goes. We just might be able to support your hardware in a future release.
