OmniOutliner general Page Setup options
To access OmniOutliner's general page setup options:
Select
File ‣ Page Setup...
to open the page setup sheet.
In the
Settings
pop-up menu, select
OmniOutliner
.
Click the
General
tab.
There is a small preview of the printed outline that reflects the options you select.
Print alternate row colors
If you set up alternate row colors in the Document inspector, selecting this option will allow them to be printed on the page.
Print other background colors
This controls whether text background colors, set with the Colors section of the Appearance inspector, appear on the printed page.
Scale document to fit page width
This option shrinks or expands the outline to fit onto the page horizontally, so that your whole printed outline is only one page wide. The outline will still use as many pages as it needs vertically, but you won't need to have side-by-side pages.
If you deselect this, a vertical "Page Boundary" marker (a dotted red line) appears when you resize your document window. You can use this to judge how many horizontal pages your outline will occupy when printed.
Expand to show all children
Select this to print all items regardless of their current expanded/collapsed status on the screen. Otherwise, only visible items will be printed.
Flatten row indentation
Use this option to ignore the outline hierarchy and print all items as if they were on the same level.
Include notes
If this is selected, the notes will be printed. You can choose to only print the notes that are currently visible in the outline, or to expand and print all notes.
