Applying styles

Styles are attributes that change the way part of an outline looks. Style attributes include things like text color, font size, and row spacing.
To style a specific part of your outline:
  • Select the part of your outline you would like to style.
  • Use the Appearance or Row inspectors to choose style attributes for the selection.
The styles palette, in the utility drawer, contains entries that represent structural portions of your document, such as whole columns or all rows on a certain indentation level.
To style structural portions of your document:
  • Open the utility drawer from the View menu or from its toolbar icon.
  • In the styles palette at the bottom of the utility drawer, select the entry that represents the portion of the document you would like to change.
  • Use the Appearance or Row inspector to choose style attributes for the selection.
