Canvases

The canvas is your work area, where you create, edit, and move objects. Any document contains at least one canvas, but with OmniGraffle Professional you can create as many as you like in the same document.
The Canvases tab
The canvases in your document are listed in the utility drawer. To open the utility drawer, select it from the View menu or click its toolbar icon. Click the Canvases tab at the top of the drawer for a list of the canvases in your document; in OmniGraffle Standard this is called the Layers tab. Each canvas has a disclosure triangle, a preview, a title, and indication of how many pages the canvas occupies, and a color well.
In OmniGraffle Professional, a canvas that depends on a master canvas displays the master's name under its own name.
To work with a canvas, click it in the list. The canvas appears in the document window, where you can add and edit objects.
To rename a canvas, double-click its name in the list.
To change the color of a canvas, click its color well in the list.
To create a new canvas, first select an existing canvas. Then click the plus button at the bottom of the canvases drawer.
To delete a canvas, select it and then click the minus button at the bottom of the canvases drawer. Any document needs at least one canvas, so you can't delete the last one.
Canvases can be dragged around to rearrange their order, or to copy them between documents.
