The Stroke Inspector is used to control the stroke of shape, polygon, line, and text objects.
Whether or not an object has a stroke is toggled by the Stroke checkbox.
In the Stroke Inspector you can specify the stroke thickness, stroke color, dash type, stroke ends, stroke corners, and drawing behaviors of the stroke.
The stroke thickness can be set in two ways. You can manually set the thickness by using the thickness text field.
You can also change the stroke thickness by moving the thickness slider. The thickness slider value can range from 1/4 pixel to 8 pixels (though the complete range of values is 0.15 pixels to as large as you want it to be, within reasonable limits ;-D).
For the stroke thickness slider, if you move the cursor over the tick marks while dragging, the slider will snap to the respective value.
The stroke color can be set by clicking on the color well and choosing a color.
The dash type can be set by selecting an dash type from the Dashes pop-up menu.
The stroke ends can be set by selecting one of the options from the Ends pop-up menu.
The stroke corners con be set by selecting one of the options from the Corners pop-up menu.
Checking the Draw at least 1 pixel thick checkbox will make the selected line draw at least one pixel thick on screen, even if it has a thickness less than 1 pixel. The line will print and export with the set stroke thickness value however.
