Status Bar |
The Status Bar provides quick access to canvas and layer controls as well as selection information.

The left side of the status bar contains controls for the document canvases and layers.
The Next Canvas and Previous Canvas buttons (shown at the far left of the toolbar) change the active canvas to be the next or previous canvas in the documents canvas list.
Note that these buttons are only available in OmniGraffle Standard when viewing a multi-page OmniGraffle Pro document in read only mode.
The eye icon to the right of the layers menu toggles whether a layer is visible in the active canvas. The printer icon toggles whether a layer will be printed, and the lock icon toggles whether a layer is locked (can't be edited) or not. Invisible layers will not be printed.

The canvas pop-up menu displays all canvases in the active document with the currently active canvas marked with a check and its name is displayed when the menu is closed.
Note that this menu is only available in OmniGraffle Standard when viewing a multi-page OmniGraffle Pro document in read only mode and the menu will not contain the New Canvas, Duplicate Canvas, or Delete Canvas options.
You can add a new canvas to the active document by selecting the New Canvas option.
You can duplicate the currently active canvas by selecting the Duplicate Canvas option.
You can delete the currently active canvas by selecting the Delete Canvas option.

The layers pop-up menu displays all layers in the active canvas with the currently active layer marked with a check and its name is displayed when the menu is closed.
You can select all objects in the currently active layer by selecting the Select All in Layer option.
You can add a new layer to the active canvas by selecting the New Layer option.
You can duplicate the currently active layer by selecting the Duplicate Layer option.
You can merge the contents of the active layer down onto the layer below by using the Merge Layer Down option.
You can delete the currently active layer by selecting the Delete Layer option.

At the right side of the status bar the graphics count and selection count is listed so you can easily determine the number of objects selected in the current canvas.
