Shadow Inspector

The Shadow Inspector is used to control the shadow of shape, polygon, line, and text objects.

Whether or not an object has a shadow is toggled by the Shadow checkbox.

In the Shadow Inspector you can specify the shadow fuzziness, shadow color, and shadow offset.

The shadow fuzziness can be set by moving the fuzziness slider. The fuzziness scale value can range from zero blurring to maximum blurring in seven steps. As you move the slider it will snap to the step values marked by the ticks.

The shadow color can be set by clicking on the color well and choosing a color.

The shadow offset can be set in two ways. You can manually set the center point of the offset by using the position text fields. Positive values in both fields shift the center down and to the right.

You can enter in the value of the shadow offset in any of OmniGraffle's four unit types and OmniGraffle will automatically convert the value to your default unit type. The four suffixes you can enter after a value are: in (inches), cm (centimeters), pt (points), pc (picas).

You can also change the shadow offset by either clicking a spot in the shadow well, or clicking and dragging the center marker around the shadow well. You will see the center marker change positions to represent the new center position.
