Selection & Style Inspector

The Selection & Style Inspector is broken up into two parts:
The Selection area and the Styles area.

The Selection area shows objects on the active canvas in small previews. Below these previews are two numbers, the first representing how many objects of a specific type are currently selected in the document, and the second showing how many of this type of object exist in the current document.

By clicking on one of the previews, all objects of that type are selected. You can shift-click or command-click to select more than one preview.

If no objects are currently selected in the active canvas, and you select one of the drawing tools, a preview for the tool will appear in the Selection area.

The Styles area displays different styles for different object types. Each of these styles can be dragged off of the Styles area as Style chits and applied to either objects on the active canvas or to the drawing tools.

When the text tool or a text object is selected, three chits are available:

A Text Chit: Copies the text styles (size, font, etc)
A Shape Chit: Copies the shape of the text object
An All Styles Chit: Copies all styles of the text object

When the shape tool or a shape object is selected, five chits are available:

A Fill Chit: Copies the fill style
A Stroke Chit: Copies the stroke style
A Shadow Chit: Copies the shadow style
A Shape Chit: Copies the shape of the object
An All Styles Chit: Copies all styles of the text object

When the line tool or a line object is selected, two chits are available:

A Stroke Chit: Copies the stroke style
An All Styles Chit: Copies all styles of the line object

When the polygon tool or a polygon object is selected, four chits are available:

A Fill Chit: Copies the fill style
