Canvases Inspector

The Canvases Inspector is used to control the canvases in the active OmniGraffle document.



In the Canvases Inspector you can add and remove canvases, rename and reorder canvases, and see the currently visible area of the active canvas.

Canvases in the active document are shown in the canvas viewer, with a small preview of the canvases and the canvas name. The viewer can be zoomed in and out, increasing or decreasing the size of the canvas previews, by using the zoom slider. To edit the canvas name, double click or option click on the name in the viewer. Canvases can be rearranged by dragging them within the canvas viewer.

To add a canvas, click the plus button. A new canvas will appear with the name "Canvas #", where # will be replaced with a number representing which canvas this is. To remove a canvas, select the canvas you wish to remove from the viewer and click the minus button. A document must have at least one canvas.

The active canvas for drawing is highlighted in the canvas viewer and a red rectangle is drawn on the canvas preview showing the area of the canvas that is visible in the active window.
